- Steam cleaning (hot water extraction) injects hot water under pressure and extracts it along with deep-set dirt and allergens — the most effective method for most fabric sofas and carpets. Shampoo cleaning uses a foam worked into the fibres then extracted — better for heavily soiled items. We assess your item on arrival and recommend the right approach.
- Yes. Leather requires a different process — we use a specialist leather cleaner followed by a conditioning treatment to restore moisture and prevent cracking. Steam is not used on leather.
- Most items dry within 4–6 hours with good ventilation and your aircon running. We recommend booking in the morning so everything is dry before the evening. Carpets may take slightly longer in humid conditions.
- We pre-treat all visible stains with targeted solutions. Most respond well. Very old or set-in stains may not come out completely — we'll be upfront about what to expect after we assess the item on arrival.
- Yes — we use cleaning solutions that are safe for households with children and pets. All solutions are thoroughly extracted during the process.
